   A selection of business applications sold as a single integrated package.
   The standard version of a software suite usually includes a word processor, a spreadsheet, presentation graphics, and an e-mail program, and the professional versionwilloftenaddadatabaseprogram.The cost of the suite is significantly less than the cost of purchasing each application separately. Additional benefits include inter-applicationcommunications,easyinstallation of the whole package, and reduced training time.
   Microsoft Office and Lotus SmartSuite are examples of popular software suites.
